2024年12月開催イベントレポート「Foster Bridge」
In December Shibuya Startup Support (SSS) took some Shibuya Startup Visa holders along to attend the inaugural Foster Bridge, a startup event held in Seoul. During the visit, SSS also met with local creativetech startup support organizations, VCs, and startups to observe and learn from the Korean startup ecosystem and support programs.
Shibuya Startup Support（以下、SSS）は、2024年12月2-3日に韓国・ソウルのDragon City Hotelにて開催されたスタートアップイベント「Foster Bridge」へ渋谷スタートアップビザホルダーと共に参加しました。また、現地のクリエイティブテックスタートアップ支援機関、VC、スタートアップも訪問し、韓国のスタートアップ支援の取り組みやエコシステムについて視察を行いました。

Speaking at Foster Bridge
Foster Bridge aims to connect startups with investors from around the world and foster cross-border collaboration to accelerate global growth.
On the first day, Sayaka Nakashima from SSS gave a presentation introducing Japan’s startup ecosystem, SSS’s support programs, and trends in Japan’s creativetech sector, as well as art and technology-related events hosted in Shibuya. She was followed by Mari Matsuzaki, who joined a panel discussion alongside Shibuya Startup Visa holder and member of STAYGE Labs Michael Baeg, and Kyunghun Lee from Global Brain, a VC supporting creativetech startups in Japan.
The panel explored key considerations for Korean startups looking to enter the Japanese market and discussed the potential for future collaboration between Japan and Korea in the creativetech field.
「FosterBridge」にてビザホルダーと登壇
2024年12月に初開催された「Foster Bridge」は、スタートアップと世界中の投資家をつなぎ、国境を越えた連携を通じてスタートアップのグローバルな成長を促進することを目的としたイベントです。
イベント初日には、SSSの中嶋が登壇し、日本のスタートアップエコシステムやSSSの支援プログラム、日本のクリエイティブテックスタートアップの動向、さらには渋谷で開催されるアート×テクノロジー関連イベントについて紹介しました。
続いて、SSSの松崎が、渋谷スタートアップビザホルダーであるSTAYGE LabsのMichael Baeg氏、そして日本のクリエイティブテック分野を支援するVCであるGlobal BrainのKyunghun Lee氏とともに、プレゼンテーションおよびパネルディスカッションを実施しました。
パネルディスカッションでは、「韓国スタートアップが日本市場に参入する際のポイント」や「日韓におけるクリエイティブテック分野の今後の連携可能性」について意見が交わされ、両国のスタートアップが連携を深めるためのヒントや実践的な視点が共有されました。

Visit to Korea’s Creativetech Scene
SSS also visited key startup incubation and support program locations while in Korea. These included Goyang City north of Seoul, which is actively investing in creative industry infrastructure, and the Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, a public institution providing end-to-end startup support from incubation to overseas expansion. Discussions centered on each party’s ongoing initiatives and future collaboration opportunities.
Two of the organizations visited during the trip also participated in Creativetech Shibuya:
– FuturePlay: A Korean VC and accelerator focusing on deeptech.
– Pinkfong Company: A global entertainment startup from Korea, best known for the global hit children’s song “Baby Shark.”
韓国のクリエイティブテック支援機関、VC、スタートアップへの視察
スタートアップやクリエイティブ産業の成長を支援する都市として、インキュベーション施設や支援制度の整備を進めているソウルの北に位置する高陽市（Goyang City）と、インキュベーションから海外展開支援まで幅広く起業をサポートする公的支援機関Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovationへ視察を行い、お互いの取り組み紹介と今後のコラボレーションの可能性について議論しました。
また、今回視察した以下のVCとスタートアップはCreativetech Shibuyaにも参加しました。
– FuturePlay：ディープテックの分野に力を入れている韓国VC、アクセラレーター。
– Pinkfong Company：韓国発のグローバルエンターテインメントスタートアップで、世界的に大ヒットした子ども向け楽曲「Baby Shark」の生みの親。
